Using phpMyAdmin

Posted 09th August, 2019

In this article, we'll cover the steps needed to access and use your phpMyAdmin.

Starting off, you would need to login into your personal cPanel account and from there on, search for the "Databases" tab, in which the "phpMyAdmin" tool will be available.

Once you have clicked on that, a new page will popup, that will contain all of your existing databases.

Let's say, that you have example_database visible on the left-hand side, if you do press on the name, the tables that are stored within will populate in the middle and you will be able to perform various actions to them, such as Drop/Empty/Insert etc.

You have more useful tools on the top bar, such as the SQL, in which you can write in custom SQL Code for altering any bits of the database rows, along with Export and Import functions.

Lastly, a Search tool, that can allow you to search for any strings in your database tables.
